Who says C7 Corvette isn’t fast enough? A reconfigured 2015 C7 Stingray just did 60 miles per hour in a breathtaking 2.9 seconds.
The engineers at Hennessey Performance has modified a C7 Stingray to prove its road power. Equipped with a 2.3 liter supercharged engine that boasts 708 horsepower, it sprinted across 60 feet in just 1.77 seconds before finishing the quarter mile journey precisely in 10.97 seconds.
The rare C7 Stingray possesses GM’s eight-speed automatic transmission and drag radial tires. Hennessy only produced 100 units last year and hopefully will do the same this year.
